Orders are accepted on the basis of allowing up to 14 days for dispatch and delivery. However, we generally dispatch within 24-72 hours.
Import Duties and Taxes
Import Taxes (outside the UK); Colonel Bills is not responsible for any charges the customer may have to pay in taxes or customs duty. We suggest customers contact their local customs office to establish what additional charges may be incurred on importation.
The exceptions to this are parcels sent to the US and the EU where we are obliged to pay a customers tax for them prior to shipping. In the case of EU parcels this costs is included in the shipping costs. For US parcels the tariff costs - normally 10% are added during the checkout process
VAT
Colonel Bills is a VAT registered company but operates a 'Second-hand dealers margin scheme' with HMRC for items in the Pre-Loved section of the website. A second-hand dealer's profit margin is the difference between the purchase price and the selling price of an item, and therefore no VAT is shown, or charged, at the point of sale, as this is calculated later as a total of all relevant sales.
Consignment Sales items, Belt Fed Gaming, D'Arlo Figurines, Wire Spears, Bases & Paints are all subject to normal VAT rules
