The books are:
Part 1 - The Stage is Set. These include rules for the beginner through to the experienced gunfighter using the 'Tenderfoot Game', the 'Cowboy Game', the 'Hired Gun Game' & the 'Professional Gun Game'. They include a Quick Reference Sheet and the 'card wheels' necessary for play
Part 2 - The Plot Thickens. Adds Horses, Mules, Wagons, Dogs, Surrender, Explosives, Fast-Draw, and rules for public participation games
Part 3 - With a Cast of Thousands. Introduces a points system, further details of weapons including loading, misfires, charts for handguns and shoulder arms. Guides to characters and army lists
Part 4 - The Return. This was a later addition to the first three volumes. It adds rules for campaigns, long range shooting, weather, Hollywood characters, ricochets, & drunks; pumping lead & playing possum. It also provides rules for flintlock and novelty weapons. Finally it adds army lists for some of the better known films and television series from the 19650's, 60's and 70's such as 'Champion the Wonder Horse', the 'High Chaparral' and 'High Noon'
