This book describes the Black Powder ame and its various procedures nad rules as played by the aurhtors and their friends. The authors' aim is t enable and encourage the reader to recrate thee great battles of the 18th and 19th centuries with aremies of model soldiers on the tabletop.

This is probably the most widely used set of wargames rules since the millenium and , whilst this issue has been superceded by version 2, the basic core rules and the seven complete battle scenarios are as useful as ever. Highly recommended!
